In September 2007 , the task was set to eliminate the freezing of panels in five apartments of residential building No. 20 on the lane . Union in the Sormovsky district of the city of Nizhny Novgorod. In winter, in these apartments, the inner surface of the walls was cooled until frost appeared on it and fungus formed, the wallpaper peeled off, and the air temperature dropped. The widely used method of wall insulation using the Senarji technology in this case violated the architectural appearance of the facade of the house, insulated panels stood out on the facade like rivets. After preparing the walls, a layer of insulation "Teplotor Facade" was applied to the surface of the panels, with an average thickness of 2.5 mm, after which the insulated panels were painted with acrylic paint in the color of the rest of the facade. According to the results of operation from October 2007 to July 2008 , the following results can be stated:
- the freezing of the panels has stopped in the apartments;
- the temperature of the walls and indoor air in winter has become quite comfortable;
- on the surface of the material, no cracks, swelling, peeling were found.
